Owners surrendered 15yo tick-infested chihuahua because “he stinks”

A sweet 15yo chihuahua was surrendered to the San Bernardino, CA shelter yesterday, tied up in a white plastic bag with only his head sticking out.

The owners said it was because “he stinks”.  After tearing the bag off his little body, the shelter employees discovered he was INFESTED with ticks.

However, almost as soon as his video and story was posted on their Facebook page, several people offered to foster him. You can check the thread for updates – hopefully, soon we will see a pic of him in his new home!
